Berks County, PA natives Peggy and Eric Gernerd are the musical duo, MAGGIE SPIKE. MAGGIE SPIKE are singer/songwriters whose music takes you to a place where melody, rhythm, harmony and poignant lyrics converge to create a sound that is easily accessible and highly entertaining.

Drawing from a mixed bag of musical styles such as folk, rock, jazz, Celtic and reggae, MAGGIE SPIKE performs their self-penned songs with passionate appeal and soulful insight.

Their former band FIELDSTONE performed in and around Berks County between 1996 and 2002. Their well-received CD “Songs of the Oley Valley” is available at all MAGGIE SPIKE shows.

MAGGIE SPIKE is currently presenting new material from their recently released CD, “Passenger Station,” which is also available at their shows.

MAGGIE SPIKE’S approach to songwriting can be compared to Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Duncan Sheik, Roseanne Cash, Bill Miller, Sarah McLaughlin and Michael Hedges.
